Small-batch roasts, loose-leaf tea and pastries baked before sunrise — served in a room made for lingering.
The Roasted Leaf opened in 2019 with one goal: build a warm room where people actually linger. We roast in small batches every Tuesday, bake before sunrise, and know most of our regulars by name — and their order by heart.
Doors open every single morning. Pastries are out of the oven by 6:45.
We buy from four family farms in Ethiopia, Colombia and Guatemala — paying well above fair-trade.
Small batches every Tuesday on our 5kg roaster, so nothing on the shelf is ever older than seven days.
Every barista trains for a month before going solo. Dialled in three times a day.
"Best cold brew in town, no contest. The staff remember my order — that alone keeps me coming back."
"Worked here an entire afternoon and nobody rushed me. Great Wi-Fi, even better cardamom buns."
"Avocado toast and a flat white is my Sunday ritual. Consistently excellent, every single week."
"The brown butter latte should be illegal. Cosy room, kind people, great music."
"Brought my dog and they had a water bowl and a treat waiting. Instant fan."
